Mission
Statement
To be a Bible Based Ministry that is obedient to Jesus’s
Great Commission through Outreach, Missions, Fellowship, and Community Service.
Core
Values
We value the Bible:The
Bible is God’s inspired Word, timeless and timely, relevant to the common needs
of all people at all times and to the specific problems of today’s world. Therefore, we are committed to equipping the
Christians, through the proclamation of and teaching of the Word of God. (2
Tim. 2:15, 2 Tim 3:16-17, James 1:22)
We value spiritual
growth: Numerical growth is not necessarily a sign of a successful
church. Spiritual growth is. The Bible teaches that maturity is the goal
of ministry (Colossians 1:28, 29; Hebrews 5:12-14; Ephesians 4:11-16). Therefore, we desire to be a church that
encourages Christians to grow in Christ likeness – the very definition of
maturity. (Luke 6:40; Ephesians 5:1,2,
22-25; Philippians 2:5-8)
We value
stewardship: Everything belongs
to God and His people have the privilege of being His stewards. Therefore, we desire to be a church that
encourages healthy, biblical stewardship of our time, talents, and treasures. (Luke 14:33; Matthew 6:24; Colossian 3:5; 2 Corinthians
8-9 (esp. 8:5 and9:7-8); 1 Chronicles 29:11, 12)
We value Teamwork: We value team effort. T.E.A.M. – Together Everyone Achieves
More. (People working together with one
mind and a common goal equals Spiritual Empowerment) 1 Corinthians 3:9; Acts
2:46; Ephesians 5:21; John 17:21; Matthew 18:20;
We value ministry
to our Children and Youth:
Although Freedom Baptist Church will minister to children, youth, young
adults, and adults. We will intentionally
minister to Children & Youth in light of Jesus’ example and spiritual challenge
for his disciples to urge children to come unto Him and forbade them not. Children are not the Church of tomorrow; they
are the Church of today. As disciples,
we can effectively prepare our Children for the future during the early
formative years of their young lives. Matthew 19:14
We value vibrant
praise and worship services: The Church exist to evangelize others to
God’s saving Grace as well as to glorify His Holy and Righteous Name. Freedom Baptist Church will actively praise
and worship God. We believe that
everything that has breath should praise His name. Psalm 150:6; romans 15:11;
Ephesians 1:12; 1Peter 2:9; Revelation 19:5;
